Intel’s Smartphone – Wants to Connect Smartphone into Human brain

Intel’s Smartphone – Wants to Connect Smartphone into Human brain

Do you heard about Cyborgs? Whatever may be the answer but humans are really on the way to obtain such abilities in the near future…!!!

"As convergence continues across device types, functions, and capabilities, the melding of mobile technologies directly into the human body becomes the logical next step." -- Booz Allen Hamilton in an Intel-commissioned white paper on the future of mobile technology.

The white paper released Wednesday saying connected devices interfacing with the human brain is inevitability. This article is about how the computer maker, Intel, is preparing to connect devices interfacing with the human brain.

Microsoft is starting to show progress on its vision of one converged operating system for all devices. IBM is making incredible strides in its Watson technology that can understand natural human language. Google’s latest Android phones can recognize their owner’s faces to unlock their devices, and both Google and Microsoft are working on wearable computers. As for Intel, it says such technology is coming soon whether we like it or not.

“Don't expect to plug your iPhone directly into your cranium in the next few years. There's a few remaining steps on the path toward turning us all into cyborgs.”

If you can do it on your computer at work, you should be able to do the exact same thing on your smartphone, or even your glasses.

Nokia 808 PureView Camera – A 41 Mega Pixel camera smartphone from NOKIA…

Nokia 808 PureView Camera – A 41 Mega Pixel camera smartphone from NOKIA…
Nokia 808 PureView Smartphone - Front and Back View
Nokia unveiled new smartphone – Nokia 808 PureView that has 41 Mega Pixel Camera that outperforms most of the SLR cameras. The smartphone allows user to zoom in six times without the bulky lenses.

Nokia unveiled 808 PureView smartphone at Mobile World Congress on Monday. The smartphone has Carl Zeiss optics along with 41 mega pixel sensor and the Dolby Headphone technology. The 808 PureView has a 4 inch ClearBox AMOLED display, 1.3 GHz processor and 16GB internal memory with support for microSD expansion.
Nokia 808 PureView Smartphone - Front View
Nokia says, the technology is designed to so users can zoom in quickly and easily without losing the picture quality. The smartphone can zoom in four times and still shoots in 1080P Full HD video.

According to Nokia, the Dolby Headphone technology can transform stereo content into a personal surround sound experience over any set of headphones, as well as Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 channel surround sound playback.

With a 41 mega-pixel camera, it is possible to take massive pictures, which can be printed in huge formats like banners, etc. While promoting 808 PureView Nokia says that it features multiple options for image size, with standard resolution settings of 2/3, 5 and 8MP, and high resolution settings of up to 38-MegaPixels.

According to Nokia, the main reason of adopting the 41MP is not to take the enormous still or to compete with the SLR’s, but to allow making great use of 4x zoom without any loss of definition. “People aren’t actually going to keep 38MP pictures, but it shows what we can do” – Niklas Savander, Executive Vice President at Nokia.

Nokia 808 PureView is a Symbian Belle smartphone and so I feel it likely won’t appeal much to the iOS and Android users. Of course the phone is bulkier than normal camera phones, but even on full resolution it shoots instantly.

The smartphone will be launched in May and may cost around $600.

Angry Birds on Facebook – AngryBirds officially launches on Facebook on this Valentine’s Day…

A special gift to the wildly popular pig-flying game “Angry Birds” fans this Valentine’s Day. Angry Birds officially launched on Facebook on this Valentine’s Day.
Angry Birds launched on Facebook
The popular mobile device game has new levels exclusive with Facebook. This Angry Birds Facebook app is similar to the original mobile version, with the addition of social components and brand new power ups.

Angry Birds
The added social components allow players to compete with their Facebook friends for Gold, Silver and Bronze crowns along with Virtual prizes and ability to send free mystery gifts of power-ups to their friends. Players can also brag their score on the social network.

The Facebook version of Angry Birds features four new power-ups, including “sling scope”, “king sling”, “super seeds” and “birdquake” beyond the game’s famous Mighty Eagle that lets you win difficult levels with just one click.

The social version of Facebook works just as fans of the popular game would expect and is somewhat similar to previous PC versions of Angry Birds such as the recently launched iteration on Google+. Instead of dragging your finger across a touchscreen, you use your mouse to launch your birds into those detestable green pigs.

On the left side of the game play area there is a social column where you can invite friends, receive gifts such as power-ups, and buy extra power-ups using Facebook credits that you can also send to friends. You can also play the game in full-screen mode.

And — even better — anyone who plays the game between now and Feb. 16 will receive 14 free power-ups as a special Valentine's Day gift from Angry Birds developer Rovio.

Google's HUD Glasses – Google’s Android powered HUD glasses like the Terminator might wear…

Google's HUD Glasses – Google’s Android powered HUD glasses like the Terminator might wear…

If we believe on tech news from 9to5Google, the prototype of Google’s HUD (Head Up Display) glasses has been seen. The website claims that a source from 9to5Google has seen the glasses and it looks something like Oakley Thumps (Pictured.)

In December 2012, there were rumors that Google was working on pair of Android powered HUD glasses. According the 9to5Google, the Mountain View Company was working on the pair of HUD glasses for Google. The glasses functions mirrors like Terminator trilogy.

It’s really an amazing concept. The high tech glasses known as wearable HUD (Head Up Display) that could tap into Google’s cloud based location services and detail user surroundings. The information would then appear as an augmented reality computer display.
According to the sources from 9to5Google, the glasses have front facing camera with flash to gather the information and takes photo, a head-tilting navigation system to scroll and click, I/O system capable of voice input & output, CPU (1GHz of processing power), RAM (Possibly of 256MB) and Storage Hardware of 8GB to 16GB nearly equivalent to a generation-old Android phones, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and also Google’s some services like Google Map.
The front facing camera is extremely small and likely only a few megapixels. The heads up display is only for the one eye and on the side. It means the HUD is developed in one lens and the screen is not transparent. Previous speculations on the glasses included HUD on both eye sides, but according to the 9to5Google sources, the display is only on one eye and on the side.  The display does not have dual 3D configurations as previously believed.

According to the 9to5Google, the development of Google’s HUD glass is nearby finished but Google is unsure about the mass market appeal of these amazing specs. So, Google is considering launching it as beta-pilot program to people outside of the company.

The wearable technology is on the rise. Google is not the only company working on such sort of products. Apple, Recon Instruments and Motorola are few companies that are also jumped into the wearable technology.
